Alligator Gar Fishing In Nueces River
Pictured are Tate (12) and Sheldon(10) Bammert with dad Darren
Bammert and Dwain Holmes with a huge Gar caught in Nueces River.
The Gar had 50 lbs. of eggs and weighed 180 lbs. It was caught
using a Flugger Reel with a Daiwa B Stick Rod on 30 lb. test line.
Bait of choice was mullet.
